GOALdigging or GOLDdigging?

No one likes being broke, penniless, struggling, or however you choose to put it. Instead of working for it and putting in the time and effort it takes to "ball", some choose to take the easy way out. The on the back work instead of the back breaking work. Doesn't care about what's in the heart, only what's in the wallets and bank accounts. Yep, GOLDdigging.

Surely we all know a person or two who's always talking about how they have to marry a man/woman with money. Pause. That's understandable. No one wants to live that paycheck to paycheck, Ramen noodle every night kind of life, but what's wrong with having YOUR own money? The feeling of knowing that money in the bank is YOURS and you earned it.. Guess that thought never crosses some people's mind. Maybe because obtaining a six zero bank account comes with hard work, unless you're Kim K or somebody.

By all means though, if you're a gold digger and it works for you, carry on. If you only want someone solely for their financial status, this shoe probably fits you. If you know you aren't the least bit attracted to Johnny Jack or Sallie Lou but you're with him/her because you know theyll get you those Louboutins or Yeezys anytime you want, you could possibly be a GOLDdigger. Though I wonder what will happen when the person with all the money decides to up and leave? Then what will you be left with? Back to noodles with ketchup and bologna sandwiches for you! Look at those with money and their mates: Bey and Jay, LaLa and Melo, Gabrielle and Wade. The list goes on. Notice that BOTH have their own and bring something to the table. Say what you want, but nothing is more attractive than a person who is driven, goal oriented, hard working, and always trying to make big things happen. That's what you call, GOAL digging, my friends. And please know that there is nothing wrong with wanting financial security, but establishing that security yourself is the best way. THEN wanting someone who is just as financially stable as you is totally understandable, and you don't have to depend on anyone else for the things you want.

So to all of you trying to catch someone with a fat bank account but bring nothing to the table, I have one question for you.. Do you like noodles?!
