LHHATL: Back At It Again

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta has done it again! Ratchetness and all! My mind was really blown tonight, and you already know who blew it: Stevie J, Mimi, and Joseline!

First off, let's clear something up. According to my Twitter timeline, Mimi was getting praised for her "boss" actions... Uhhh, I didn't know staying with a man who is screwing everything that moves and then giving him the ok as long as you get 10% of everything makes you a boss. Guess I missed the memo! That little cleaning business must now be bringing in much dough!

Now for a bit of math, Mimi says that she and Stevie J have been together for 15 years. Hmmm, funny because during those 15 years, he was dating the female rapper, Eve, and Mimi allegedly was the side chick. Though I'm no fan of Joseline, let's not forget that a few years ago you were in her exact same position. You just managed to still be around after he and Eve ended! An article in Vibe says that someone said Stevie J's pipe game is legendary and that he's known to have women fighting over him. *faints* Who would have guessed that the little schmuck had it in him!

Now Joseline, Joseline, Joseline. What are you doing walking into men bathroom stalls taking pregnancy tests? I thought she said that she and Stevie J weren't "intimate". Then she says in next week's episode that he's the only man she's been with for the past six months! Pick your face up, Mimi! He was clearly waxing more than cars in that car wash/studio, but then again we all knew that!

Ehhh, can't wait to see what happens next week!

Get Your Own: Not Mine

Seems like people just can't be original anymore...

Nowadays, it seems like so many people are trying to do  EXACTLY what the next person is doing. We see it everyday with fashion, hair styles, businesses, ideas, material possessions, etc. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. Of course we see styles and things that we like, and it can spark interest. Just remember to make whatever it is your OWN! Do not try to mimic exactly what you saw.

"She opened a boutique, so I'm going to open boutique. He started a clothing line; I'll start a clothing line. She looks cute with natural hair; let me try natural hair." See, stop right there. Everyone does NOT look good with natural hair. It is not for everybody, and that's what a lot of people fail to realize. So you cut off all your hair and go natural, thinking you'll like Solange but end up looking more like Florida Evans from "Good Times". All because you saw a style that looked good on ANOTHER person.

By all means, you can do what you see another person does, but whose to say that you'll have the same results. There's no telling what the person had to do to get where they are, and here you are trying to do something because you see someone else doing it. If anything, be inspired. Let what you see be a starting point to what you want to do. Just because you see Rick Ross rocking the connected beard does not mean grow facial hair and have what looks like taco meat all over your face. No. Someone you know just bought a brand new sports car, and now you're at the dealership trying to trade in your minivan or '92 Corolla and get one. If that Corolla is getting you around, you better keep it until you can afford that sports car! Don't be ashamed of those squeaky breaks and slight smoke trail! And were you really even thinking about a sports car until that person bought one? Probably not. A lot of people do not think about doing something until they see the next person doing it and then get upset when they do not get the same results or feedback! If you know you can't afford something, go sit down somewhere and get your money up! Like the whole Michael Kors fad. His products have been around for years. All of sudden you see every Tom, Dick, and Harry sporting Michael Kors. You know that $300 needed  to go on your rent, credit card bill, or car note, and you spent it on a watch you couldn't afford and only wanted because you saw someone else with it. Shame!

By all means, if you do or get something because you truly like it, that's great. But if you only do it because you saw the next person do it, you just might be a what?! Copycat! After all, if you take a look back in history, the most successful people are not copycats, they are trendsetters. They find what works for them and make it their own. Those who can't  do that copy the styles and become imitators. Which one are you?

How Bad Do You Want It?

You want to be a rapper or singer? Great. You want to be CEO of a company? Great. You want two mansions and three foreign cars? Great. You want wealth, fame, or whatever? Great.

The question is, what are you doing to get it?

It's easy for us to say what we want, but the important thing is to make those words actions. If you know you want to be CEO, Lil' Mo Mo, Dr. Craig, or whatever, you have to understand that it won't come easy.  Sometimes it gets hard, and there are times when we all want to give up, but giving up should never be an option..for anyone.

Another thing to keep in mind is STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE. Stop focusing so much on what others are doing. If anything, let them be your motivation to push harder. You keep saying you want this and that, but you keep looking over at the next person trying to see what he's doing! Newsflash! That's exactly why you're getting left behind in that Pinto and why he/she zooms by in that Buggatti! Stop worrying about what the next person has and focus on doing what YOU need to do in order to get what you want. No, it may not come when you want it to, but if you continue to have faith and work hard, I'm positive that you'll end up where you want to be. Even the Bible says "Faith without works is dead." Meaning you will have to get up off your butt and work. Sit there if you want to saying, "Oh I know the Lord is gonna bless me with a job." Umm, if you aren't out looking for a job or putting in applications, do you really think an employer is going to call you and say, "Hey, God told me you were looking for a job. So that is why I'm calling." Pshhh! Sorry to tell you that PROBABLY won't happen!

I have big dreams, and I'm slowly but surely making my way towards them. Granted, I'm nowhere near where I want to be, but I'm a firm beliver that with God and hard work, anything is possible! So, if you want that big bank accout, foreign car or whatever, you better get to working!

Memphitz bashes K.Michelle

Remember K. Michelle making the statement, "He beat my @%*,"? Many of us wondered who she was referring to! So of course we all decided to go to our very best friend, GOOGLE!! Allegedly, the man who "beat her @%* was none other than Toya Carter's husband, Memphitz! Hmmm.. Hope he doesn't snap and goes crazy on Toya! But then again, she's from New Orleans so she SHOULD be ok!

Recently he's been going on Twitter rants about how he bought K. Michelle's nose, butt, boobs, and only God knows what else! Basically saying that he's the reason she's who she is today. How modest of him. NOT!

I think Memphitz is just a bit upset because he's been exposed about about his actions! He clearly takes "beats" to a whole other level! Then he's on Twitter AND Instagram bashing the lady. If you're so happy in your marriage and supposedly focusing on big things, why are you even entertaining this?? Hmmmm... Makes you wonder doesn't it?! We should have known by the name, mempHITZ. Yep, he hits alright!

Til' next time!

Glittering But Not Gold!

You know how it goes. You sit down to do homeork or something important, but somehow, you manage to make your way to Facebook. Look at your newsfeed, and lo and behold! Somebody else from high school has gotten married, engaged, or in some sort of relationship! Then quietly to yourself (rather you admit it or not) you find yourself thinking, "Am I the ONLY one who's still single?!" Or am I the only one who does this? However, the longer I sit there and wonder, something becomes a bit clearer. HALF, if not more, of the relationships that I know of are not as grand as they appear.. Umm hmmm.. I said it.. They sure aren't! Of course there are some who are good, and I applaud those and wish much happiness! The couples who are healthy and functioning well are the "chill" ones. Yeah, everybody knows their together, but everybody doesn't know their business. They might make a FB status or tweet every now and then about their significant other, but other than that, their very low key. They keep their business to themselves, which is how it should be.This couple is my favorite. Oh but then, you have the couples who just run ALL THE WAY OUT, meaning they just have to do the ABSOLUTE most! Since I'm talking couples, I'll just hit on two: the boastful broadcasters and the dysfunctional duds.

1. Boastful Broadcasters- I'm sure EVERYBODY knows a couple like this! I mean you log onto any social networking site and you see a status, tweet, post or whatever else about how amazing this person's mate is. "Oh Jack Frack is the most amazing bf in the world. Jack Frack bought me this. Jack Frack bought me that. Jack Frack is taking me to Waffle House. Jack Frack, Jack Frack." GOODNESS GRACIOUS! How do you even have time to spend with Jack Frack if you're broadcasting everything?! I'm just wondering.. Heck, they even broadcast the relationship outside of social networking. You can be sitting down discussing politics, and somehow Jack Frack has found his way into the converstaion! Uh, what does Jack Frack have to do with politics? Exactly. This couple just has to let everybody knows what's going on in thier relationship. Just like they broadcast the good, you better believe they broadcast the bad as well. One week later you'll see updates like this:"Just cant trust people these days. I was so good to him." or "It was all good just a week ago." Then automatically you're like, "Jack Frack and Molly must be having problems."Just a word of advice, if you're having trouble in a relationship, a person should not be able to tell everything that's going on with the two of you by your tweets.

2. Dysfunctional Duds-I cannot think of any other word but sis to describe this couple. EVERYBODY thinks they need to be apart from each other because they are just not healthy for each other! This couple breaks up literally every week, but if you ask how everything's going, they will say great! Great? Uh,were you two not in the paper last week about a domestic dispute? They seem to have problem after problem. Of course every relationship has its problems, but these are a bit extreme! He or she cheats (every week or so). They fight. Police are called. Reports are filed, but two days later, they're back in love again. This doesn't just happen once. It happens way too often! It's like a cycle. See what I mean? Dysfunctional! I'm no relationship expert, but I'm sure a relationship isn't supposed to leave a person with bruises and black eyes. Whatever it is, I will do fine without it!

As of today, I'm in no type of relationship, and if I had to be in a relationship like either of these, well I'd rather be alone...with an apartment full of cats!

Until next time!

Palins the new Kardashians??

Who the HECK gave Bristol Palin a show and has her thinking that she's some sort of role model?! Because she had a baby at 17 she gets a show?! There are tons of women who have given birth at young ages. Matter of fact, tons who have given birth at young ages and went on to do major IMPORTANT things! Uhhhh, where is their show?! *crickets* EXACTLY! If you ask me, this is all one big PR move for Sarah Palin. I can see her in the boardroom now. Glasses on her nose and nodding her head like she really knows what's going on. & everyone I talk to seems to think that they are trying to be the Kardashians of the political world. Hmmm, I see. One daughter famous for nothing? Check. Powerhouse mom. Check. Yes, yes, I see a few similarities! All I know is that I'm about to finish school. That's an accomplishment in my book! So where is my show?! Guess that's not as grand as Bristol's accomplishment! *faints*

Until next time!

Friend or "Frenemy"

My mom called today. Like most parents, asking a million questions. You know, the usual. How are you? How are classes going? How are your friends?.............PAUSE..........

Friends..... I swear it seems like this word is being thrown around more than the "L" word.... Nowadays it's hard to tell who's your friend, enemy, frenemy! Sheesh! However, there are always signs that show who REALLY is a friend or not, but there are 4 that you MUST look out for...

1. "I Promise I Wont Say Anything" Inez- I mean, the name says it all. She acts like she just has to know the juiciest news! She usually knows everybody's business, and comes to you saying, "Girl if i tell you this, don't tell anybody." RED FLAG!! Remember if she gossips with you, she'll probably gossip about you!

Nosey Natasha- Natasha, Natasha, Natasha.... She wants to know EVERYTHING! Make a tweet. Natasha calls asking who's the tweet about. You make a Facebook status. Natasha's wanting to know who the status is about. It just makes you wonder why she wants to know stuff so bad. Something to think about.

Hating Hannah- Who needs enemies when you have friends like Hating Hannah. She ALWAYS has something negative to say! "I aced that test." Hannah: Don't speak so soon, probably didn't do as good as you think. "I bought the cutest yellow dress." Hannah: Yellow?? Now you know that's not your color. See what I mean, always hating! Watch out!

4. "I Wanna Be Just Like You" Yvette- You say it's hot. She says it's hot. You don't like somebody. She doesn't like somebody. You change your hair color. She changes hers! Good grief! You get the point! This "friend" mimics what you do so much to a point that it's ridiculous. Have you watched "The Roommate"?? Hmmmm.. May want to watch the movie and your BACK! Wake up and find her standing over your bed just staring!! Watch!!!

These are just 4 of the many! Look out!!!

Love & Hip Hop: H.A.M or Scripted Greatness?

If you missed the premiere of Love and Hip: Atlanta you missed a GOOD, and I do mean GOOD premiere! But for those who watched, what did you think of the show?
Seriously, I don't even know where to begin! Some of my followers on Twitter were complaining about the "ratchetness" of the show and such, but I LOVE it! Kudos to VH1! I see high ratings in its forecast!

Now on to the show......

Tonight's show gave me EVERYTHING! Controversy, drama, off brand Rihannas, mama drama (literally) and whatever else you can probably think of!!! But I MUST focus on the highlights of the night... Of course it's Mimi, Stevie J., and Joseline!

Mimi, Stevie J., and Joseline:  Now at that start of the show when she was going off on Stevie J., I was thinking "Oh yeah, this chick is about that life! Another Chrissy!" Boy was I wrong! I like Mimi, but if you KNOW that the chick your man is screwing is sitting beside you, why the heck are you breaking bread and eating like you're Jesus at the Last Supper. I just don't understand.. Yeah, yeah, I know that people are probably saying that they have a child together and have been together for years.. But, um, what the heck does that have to do with anything if he's not considerate of your feelings and is all out in public with Rihanna wannabes?! I'm no Dr. Phil of relationships, but I'm pretty sure that's just not how it goes! What exactly do you call 15 years with no ring, out publicly with other women, and out all night while you're home taking care of the kid? Is that what the saying  "holding him down" means? If so, I'm confused because it sounds like stupidity to me!

Stevie J and Joseline.... I just don't even know where to begin with these characters! He is in the studio smacking things that are NOT on the switchboards if you know what I mean. He arrives at K. Michelle's party with Rih"boy"na.. How obvious is it that they clearly have something going on. Just because he's Joseline's manager does NOT mean that they have to go EVERYWHERE together! Seriously, who really believes that? Joseline, speaking incorrectly, barely understandable, just openly admitted that she and Stevie J share more than just time in the car wash, studio, or whatever you want to call it. THEN, she throws her drink on him and says, and I quote, "You better act like you f$%!*ng know." Now what the heck does she mean by that??  Hmmmm, I have an idea.. And after all the mess that erupted between Stevie J and Mimi, this dude gets in the car, with Joseline, and drives off with Mimi just standing there! *faints*

Now that I have revived myself and picked myself off the floor, I am still so surprised at Stevie J and even more surprised that Mimi didn't have to be taken away by Atlanta Police! (sighs) I just don't know what else to say. But I see a lot of drama in all of their forecasts.. Guess we'll have to see in the upcoming weeks! Whether it's scripted or not, I'm sold and will be tuned in every week!

Until next time,

Stay dry!

What is "Pink Forecast?"

I see a SHOWER of entertainment in your future!

I know you're probably wondering, "What the heck is Pink Forecast, and how is it different from any other blog?" Well, I am a lover of entertainment, meaning, I EAT, SLEEP, and BREATH entertainment! Yeah, I know that was cliché, but it worked in so well with what I had to say! Anyway, I'm always hitting that refresh button on Twitter. Whether it's to see what album is hot right now, who Chris Brown is arguing with this week, or to see which Basketball Wife is throwing drinks, I HAVE to know what's going on.

So, I wanted to share my love for all things entertainment with others and hopefully be some source of entertainment after a long work or school day or just something to read during leisurely time. Whether it be my viewpoints of reality shows, relationships, or even stories about my own life, YOU WILL BE ENTERTAINED!
